reasons
to join istc

As exchange students, you will discover a very friendly working atmosphere, supported by a dedicated staff that offers personal guidance to students throughout their exchange period.

We offer English courses to our exchange students.
Therefore, if you don’t know the French language but wish to study at ISTC, this is possible.
You will also have the opportunity to take a French language class for free!

Our regular students also commit themselves for international students to feel just like at home. The so-called association BDI (Bureau des Internationaux) gathers French students devoted to exchange students.
Throughtout the year, they assist them for administrative tasks, they organize social activities (visit of the city at the beginning of each semester, typical regional restaurants…)

Driven by its core values, ISTC is committed to ensuring access to higher education for everyone. The school provides specific pedagogical adjustments, tailored teaching formats, flexible scheduling, and adapted assessment methods to support various needs of students, including those with disabilities or chronic health conditions recognized by the university physician, as well as high-level artists, and athletes.

Disability welcome mission

ISTC places special emphasis on supporting students with disabilities, whether visible or invisible, to ensure their academic success and future integration into society and the workforce. Our goal is to foster an inclusive environment where every student can fully participate in ISTC’s diverse community. In collaboration with the Lille Catholic University and the CFA Jean Bosco, the Disability Welcome Mission provides adapted support for candidates and students with disabilities.

Key Objectives of the Disability Welcome Mission

  •  Listen to individuals facing challenges in their studies or professional activities at ISTC.
  •  Propose simple solutions or refer students to specialized physicians for specific adjustments.
  •  Implement, whenever feasible, adjustments recommended by medical professionals.
  •  Promote the universal application of these adjustments across ISTC, benefiting all students and staff.
  •  Bring together all relevant stakeholders to address disability-related issues.
  •  Encourage the autonomy of individuals with disabilities.
